Romania - Training and workshops

The workshops and the training focused on specific functions of MONA, its benefits and future integrations. The device was presented, the various functionalities were demonstrated, and a real telemedicine consultation was conducted with Aachen Telemedicine Center.

In addition, a particular attention was given to the issues of data management in the ICU and telemedicine second opinions. Doctors, nurses and technicians expressed interest in using this system primarily to obtain second opinions and to provide them to other small hospitals.

Following the installation of MONA in each hospital, a follow-up workshop will be conducted, and a national conference will be held once all Romanian hospitals will be connected.
